Job summary

Bechtel in Argentina seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the construction phase of mining projects. The role focuses on high voltage execution, interpretation of design documents, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and client standards.

You will coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and field teams to maintain project quality and timely documentation. Strong English and Spanish skills, plus a background in construction is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree with 10 years of work experience in substation and line construction.
• High voltage experience on mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to craft and supervision and ensure quality requirements on the project.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues from drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents to support construction managers and contractors.
• Establish and maintain communication between the company and the design engineer for timely flow of design documents.
• Coordinate preparation and implementation of the project quality program within construction engineering.
• Other duties as assigned.
