Deel is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure – Messaging & Async Platform team, focusing on building and scaling our messaging infrastructure.

You will design, operate, and improve distributed systems powering event-driven architectures, with hands-on work on NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar, and related tooling. This role emphasizes reliability, observability, and performance at scale.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with distributed systems design and operation.
• Expertise in event-driven messaging architectures.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (Typescript, Go, Python).

Responsabilidades

• Operate and improve our async messaging platform built on NATS.
• Develop tooling and platform capabilities for reliable asynchronous communication.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of messaging systems.
• Partner with engineering teams to adopt or optimize messaging workflows.
• Contribute to architecture decisions around event-driven systems.
