ExxonMobil's Global Business Center in Buenos Aires seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to build, operate and continuously improve IT Platform Engineering capabilities. You will design and manage the infrastructure and tooling used by teams to build and deploy applications.

The role aims to deliver stable, scalable, self-service platforms, automate processes, improve observability, and ensure resilience, security and compliance.

The IT department is seeking new candidates to its dynamic team. The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration through site development to production.

What Role You Will Play In Our Team
The Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving IT Platform Engineering capabilities. This role focuses on designing and managing the infrastructure and tools that business capability teams use to build and deploy applications.

The goal is to provide stable, scalable, and self-service platforms, enabling teams to focus on delivering business value without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. This includes automating processes, providing reusable components, improving observability, and ensuring infrastructure resilience, security, and compliance.

In this role, you will apply industry best practices, contribute to platform evolution, and take an active role in improving reliability and operational efficiency. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production environments as needed.
