ExxonMobil is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to build, operate, and improve IT Platform Engineering capabilities across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will design resilient, scalable platforms, automate processes, and provide self‑service resources to enable product teams to deliver value.

The role emphasizes observability, deployment automation, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams, with multiple teams and a willingness to learn new tools.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in infra, SRE, devops or related roles.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, etc.).
• Exposure to observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Ansible, or similar).
• Experience managing production environments (Windows and/or Linux).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Hands-on scripting for automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Experience with version control and CI/CD practices (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Understanding of performance, reliability, and ops best practices
• Good English communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Operate and improve cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Support and optimize Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Monitor systems and improve performance, reliability, and availability.
• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to platform scalability, resilience, and observability improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and platform usage.
• Support underlying infrastructure components like virtualization, storage, and data protection.
