Job summary

PSI is seeking a Site Laboratory Specialist to review study documents and support site initiation with laboratory matters. The role includes coordinating laboratory kit orders, patient eligibility checks, and resolving lab queries to ensure study progress.

Key duties include developing site-specific lab documents, monitoring KPIs, and training study teams in lab procedures and best practices, while collaborating with laboratories, sites, and PSI project teams.

Qualifications

• University or college degree in Life Sciences is required.
• Full working proficiency in English; Portuguese is a plus.
• At least 4 years' experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Prior clinical research industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Review study documents related to laboratory support
• Support site selection and site initiation activities with laboratory related matters
• Support sites with laboratory kit orders, patient eligibility check, laboratory query resolution, and laboratory qualification questionnaire completion
• Develop and implement project site specific laboratory control documents and guidelines
• Monitor laboratory metrics and KPIs on a site level
• Support the communication between laboratories, site and PSI project team
• Support the development of patient enrolment strategies
• Developing and delivering training to the study team and/or clinical sites in laboratory related procedures and laboratory best practices
