Job summary

Hirehawk Inc. is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role supporting North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists.

You will ensure platform-optimized videos for YouTube, social media, and paid media, stay ahead of trends, and deliver high-quality assets on schedule while working with U.S.-based teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency or marketing setting.
• Fluent English and ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience editing ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns.
• Strong eye for pacing, engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality with color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback.
• Stay updated on editing techniques and platform trends.
