Job summary

Hyprwork is seeking a Senior Video Editor for remote work focused on North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content tailored for platforms like YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

As part of the expansion into Latin America, you’ll shape video content strategies and ensure seamless execution across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations) to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets, ensuring structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for review steps.
