Hyprwork seeks a Senior Video Editor to craft ads, brand storytelling, and campaigns for North American universities. This fully remote role collaborates with designers, copywriters, and strategists across time zones.

You will optimize video content for YouTube, social media, and paid media, ensure brand consistency, and stay ahead of platform trends. 3+ years in agency or marketing environments required; fluent English essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, plus working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability, with pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
• Stay updated on editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets through review steps.
