Job summary

High Scale is seeking a Senior Video Editor to edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns. You will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high‑quality content tailored for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns, with a focus on performance for North American universities.

The role is fully remote across Latin America; you’ll shape video content strategies, stay current with platform trends, and deliver assets

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience in an agency, media production, or marketing team.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and other editors.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling with pacing, engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and color grading for various platforms.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Fluent English communication with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience delivering content optimized for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality with color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms: aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
