Dev.Pro is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our remote-first team working on a cloud-based restaurant POS platform used by thousands of U.S. businesses.

You will contribute to manual and automated testing efforts, validate real-world customer workflows, and collaborate with developers, QA, Product teams, and Team Leads to ensure product quality. You’ll work with modern technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, WebdriverIO, API testing (REST/GraphQL), CI/CD, and Docker, helping deliver

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO.
• Experience with API and integration testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools such as Postman, and a solid understanding of REST principles and HTTP methods.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing web and mobile interfaces.
• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Day-in-the-Life testing to validate real-world customer workflows.
• Prepare and maintain client configurations and test environments.
• Perform manual functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end, API, and integration tests.
• Monitor manual and automated test execution, investigate failures, and track test reliability metrics.
• Work closely with developers to identify, reproduce, document, and track defects.
• Collect testing metrics and contribute to QA reporting.
• Collaborate with the team to clarify acceptance criteria, support early testing, and participate in test code reviews.
• Help improve testing practices and overall product quality.
