FullStack is seeking a Principal SQL Database Administrator to join our talent network for flexible, project-based development work with U.S. clients. You will integrate into client teams and manage large-scale Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalable operations.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in database administration, advanced English, and a four-year degree. This is a 100% remote, project-based role with exposure to Fortune 500 companies.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional Database Administration experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Demonstrated experience administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server at significant scale, across 1,000+ databases or equivalent enterprise environment.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server administration within Windows-hosted environments.
• Strong experience with SQL Server performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server indexing strategies and index optimization.
• Strong experience analyzing execution plans, query performance, waits, blocking, locking, and other SQL Server performance indicators.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks proactively.
• Strong understanding of SQL Server maintenance and ongoing database health management.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their designers and engineers daily.
• Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automate database deployment and maintenance tasks.
