Bridgenext is hiring a Senior QA to join our team supporting clients. This is a hands-on role where you will drive quality for client deliverables, contribute to test strategy, and collaborate directly with the client's QA team and developers alongside Bridgenext's QA and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong manual testing expertise, working knowledge of test automation (Playwright preferred), and demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate testing activities.

Formación

• 5-7 years of QA experience with hands-on testing of complex web apps.
• Strong manual testing across functional, regression, and UAT.
• Experience building automated tests with Playwright or similar.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate testing and data creation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (or Java/Python) for automation.
• Solid API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiar with Jira and test management tools; Agile/Scrum with CI/CD.

Position Description

We are hiring a Senior QA to join our team supporting our clients. This is a hands-on role where you will drive quality for client deliverables, contribute to test strategy, and collaborate directly with the client's QA team and developers alongside Bridgenext's QA and engineering teams. The ideal candidate brings strong manual testing expertise, working knowledge of test automation (Playwright preferred), and demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (such as Claude) to accelerate testing activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Execute QA activities for enterprise CMS engagements, including test planning, estimation, and execution within sprint/release timelines
• Design, document, and execute comprehensive manual test cases covering functional, regression, integration, UAT, cross-browser, and exploratory testing scenarios
• Build, maintain, and extend automated test suites using Playwright (or comparable frameworks) for web application UI and API testing
• Collaborate directly with the client's QA team, developers, product owners, and Bridgenext's onshore/offshore QA and development teams to ensure aligned quality goals
• Follow and help refine QA best practices, entry/exit criteria, and quality gates across sprints and releases
• Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis, automation script drafting, and documentation
• Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking; maintain clear, actionable defect reports in tools such as Jira
• Validate CMS features including content authoring workflows, publishing, permissions, templates, integrations, and front-end rendering
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Support and review test cases of junior QA team members as needed
• Provide clear, timely status updates and risk communication to the immediate team and stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and CI/CD integration

Workplace: Remote position based in Latin America, preferably Argentina. Direct day-to-day collaboration with the client's QA team and developers. Integrated working relationship with Bridgenext's QA and development teams.

Must Have Skills:

• 5-7 years of overall QA experience, with solid exposure to complex web application testing
• Strong hands-on manual testing experience across web applications - functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT
• Hands-on experience with test automation; Playwright strongly preferred. Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar will be considered
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to support testing activities - test case generation, automation script drafting, defect analysis, or test data creation
• Solid scripting / programming proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (or Java / Python) for automation
• Strong understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent
• Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, qTest, or similar)
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Good communication skills - able to engage confidently with client-side QA leads, developers, and product stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively across distributed teams (onshore / offshore) with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:

• Experience testing enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, or similar CMS products)
• Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, k6) and accessibility testing (axe, WAVE)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker)
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
• Experience building or using AI-assisted QA workflows or prompt libraries
