ELEKS Quality Assurance Office in Argentina seeks a Senior Test Automation Engineer (TypeScript) to lead API and end-to-end test automation, leveraging Playwright in a greenfield setup. You will own test strategy, design automation frameworks, and drive CI/CD integration, collaborating closely with engineers and product teams.

You should have 5+ years in software testing, strong AI/LLM tooling experience, and fluency in Spanish with advanced English.

ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer (TypeScript) in Argentina.

ABOUT PROJECT

The Customer is building a safety network that connects consumers, enterprises, monitoring centers, first responders, and emergency services. This is a platform for transmitting critical data.

We are looking for a Senior General Test Engineer to join the AI-first incident management team. Strong ownership, proactive communication, and AI fluencyare essential for success in this role.

5+ years of software testing experience, including both manual and automated testing

• Practical experience using AI/LLM tools in test automation and QA workflows
• Ability to use AI for test design, test case generation, automation code generation, refactoring, debugging, and maintenance
• Familiarity with AI agents, skills/tools, MCP, hooks, and agentic automation workflows is a plus
• Ability to extend automation coverage from backend services to frontend applications
• Strong understanding of test architecture, mocking strategies, and test data management
• Experience developing and maintaining end-to-end automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Senior-level quality engineering mindset with ownership of overall product quality, not just test automation
• Highly self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in a greenfield environment with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Spanish - Advanced
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Strong experience in API and end-to-end test automation using Playwright and TypeScript

Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for API/backend testing

Proven experience defining quality strategy and establishing QA processes, testing standards, and test management practices in greenfield environments

Experience collaborating with engineers and product stakeholders to define feature specifications, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios
