EPAM Systems in Argentina seeks a Senior QA Engineer to lead automated testing across web products, emphasizing browser automation and identity/auth flows. You will expand Cypress and Playwright coverage, improve test assets, and drive accessibility and performance checks.

The role requires designing test strategies, executing regression/integration/exploratory testing, and collaborating with BAs and developers to ensure testable acceptance criteria. Strong English (B2) is expected.

• 3+ years Cypress automation experience.
• 3+ years Playwright testing experience.
• Senior-level ownership and accountability for automation quality across products.
• 3+ years test strategy execution across regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• 3+ years JavaScript-based test development for browser automation.
• Strong defect documentation with clear steps and environment context.
• English proficiency at B2 Upper-Intermediate.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and extend Cypress browser automation suites across products.
• Introduce Playwright test coverage for new features and areas not yet covered by automation.
• Design and execute test scenarios for authentication flows, token handling, and session management.
• Execute regression, integration, and exploratory testing across sprint cycles.
• Run accessibility checks with axe-core and report WCAG 2.1 AA findings.
• Execute Lighthouse CI performance checks and flag regressions.
• Create, maintain, and organize test cases in TestRail.
• Triage and document defects with clear steps and environment details.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst to confirm acceptance criteria are testable.
• Align QA practices with cross-portfolio test strategy with QA Manager.
• Use AI tools to generate test cases and test data from acceptance criteria.
• Apply AI-assisted approaches to defect triage by suggesting root causes.

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to drive automated testing across a suite of web products, with a strong focus on browser automation and identity/authentication flows. You will expand Cypress and Playwright coverage, run accessibility and performance checks, and keep test assets well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend Cypress browser automation suites across multiple products
• Introduce Playwright test coverage for new features and areas not yet covered by automation
• Design and execute test scenarios for authentication flows, token handling, session management, and identity edge cases
• Execute regression, integration, and exploratory testing across sprint cycles
• Run accessibility checks with axe-core and report findings against WCAG 2.1 AA
• Execute Lighthouse CI performance checks and flag regressions to the pod lead
• Create, maintain, and organize test cases in TestRail
• Triage and document defects with clear steps, expected results, and environment details
• Collaborate with the Business Analyst to confirm acceptance criteria are testable before sprint planning
• Align pod-level QA practices with cross-portfolio test strategy in partnership with the QA Manager
• Use AI tools to generate test cases and test data from acceptance criteria or user stories
• Apply AI-assisted approaches to defect triage by suggesting root causes or identifying related failing tests

Requirements

• Cypress automation experience (3+ years)
• Playwright testing experience (3+ years)
• Senior-level ownership and accountability for automation quality across products (3+ years)
• Test strategy execution experience across regression, integration, and exploratory testing (3+ years)
• JavaScript-based test development skills for browser automation suites (3+ years)
• Strong defect documentation skills with clear reproduction steps and environment context
• English proficiency at B2 Upper-Intermediate

Nice to have

• axe-core accessibility testing experience aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA
• Lighthouse CI performance testing experience
• GitLab CI experience for automated test execution
• TestRail administration or advanced test management skills
• Experience validating fixes for race conditions and batch processing reliability
