AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to define an agentic-first approach to software development. You will design agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration patterns, turning experiments into production systems with strong security and reliability for enterprise customers.

You will mentor engineers, build production-ready agentic capabilities, and collaborate with product and engineering leaders to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Formación

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and React.
• Proficiency with Relational Databases.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents, tool-using LLM apps, or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, agent evaluation, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Ability to provide agents with clear context, constraints, architecture, acceptance criteria, and technical direction.
• Strong judgment in reviewing, testing, securing, and improving agent-generated code.
• Ability to decompose complex work into agent-ready tasks while maintaining architectural consistency.
• Experience creating workflows where agents reason, select tools, call APIs, manage state, recover from failures, and escalate to humans.
• Senior-level experience building and operating production software systems.
• Experience using agents to support coding, code review, testing, release management, or incident response.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with APIs, workflow engines, event-driven architectures, integrations, or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of testing, observability, security, permissions, and failure recovery.
• Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into practical, reliable technical solutions.
• A product mindset: understand problems deeply, make tradeoffs, deliver complete customer-ready solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence engineering practices across a team.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build agentic workflows that coordinate tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration, tool use, context management, memory, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Use agentic coding tools throughout planning, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, code review, and documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, support, and operational workflows.
• Establish standards for agent evaluation, observability, reliability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and turn experiments into production systems.
• Build complete, usable products—not just demos or isolated model integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity and product delivery via agentic development.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first technical strategy across the org.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to link agentic capabilities to outcomes.
• Design agentic apps around real user needs, including intuitive experiences, reliable workflows, permissions, audit trails, and meaningful error handling.
• Move agentic solutions from prototype to production addressing performance, scalability, security, monitoring, cost, and maintenance.
