Proofpoint is seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) professional to monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber threats impacting customers. You’ll collaborate across engineering, support, and services teams to ensure rapid threat detection and effective remediation.

The role emphasizes hands-on threat analysis, automation development, and a proactive approach to identifying patterns that improve product security and threat detection capabilities. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in anti-abuse, threat, or security research.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of Internet threats and abuse patterns.
• Experience with email, DNS, or messaging tech; proficient in English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor detection systems for new and emerging threats.
• Develop automation and tooling to improve resilience against threats.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Support, Threat Ops and Technical Services.
• Document threats and trends for internal and external communication.
• Provide CSI remediation support to users.
• Operate in a 24x7 follow-the-sun environment.
