Proofpoint is seeking a security professional to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) in Córdoba, Argentina. You will monitor detection systems, analyze threats, and respond quickly to incidents while collaborating with Engineering, Support, and Technical Services.

The role emphasizes automation, threat intelligence, and clear communication. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in anti-abuse or security research, strong English, and experience with Splunk or Kibana, SQL, and messaging

Formación

• 5+ years in anti-abuse email deliverability, threat research, or security research fields.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of the Internet and threat actors’ use of resources.
• Technical experience with email, mobile, DNS or other messaging technologies.
• Proficiency in Shell and Go; Perl and Python acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in monitoring and adjustment of detection systems for new threats.
• Develop automation and tooling to improve resilience against threats.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Support, Threat Operations and Technical Services for multi-pronged efficacy.
• Document threats and trends for internal and external communication.
• Provide support for CSI remediation requests.
