Kraken, a leading crypto exchange, is seeking a senior IT audit and technology risk professional to strengthen its Security Compliance program in a rapidly evolving Web3 environment. You will work cross-functionally with Security, IT, Engineering, and Finance to design effective controls and ensure audit readiness.

This fully remote role welcomes candidates in Europe and requires availability to support U.S. business hours.

Formación

• 5+ years in external IT audit or technology risk assurance with ownership of complex audit requirements.
• Hands-on ICFR experience, SOX 404, control design and operating effectiveness testing.
• Experience with Big 4 or equivalent external auditors in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead audits across IT and security functions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations under AICPA standards.
• Support end-to-end SOX planning and execution, including IT system scoping and training.
• Act as a trusted adviser to Security, IT, Infrastructure, Engineering, Data, and Finance teams.
• Oversee IT control gap assessments and remediation with control owners.
• Develop auditor-ready documentation, data flow diagrams and process flowcharts.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure efficient, high‑quality audits.
