Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced engineer to lead SDN solution development and delivery for software-defined datacenters. You will architect automation platforms, drive multi-cloud deployments, and implement IaC with industry-standard tooling in an Agile environment.

The role requires strong Python/Go/JavaScript/Rust skills, deep networking knowledge, and experience with NSX-T and cloud networking architectures. Excellent collaboration and mentoring abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network infrastructure development or DevOps networking
• Experience with Python/Go/JavaScript/Rust for automation
• Strong understanding of BGP, MPLS, IP/TCP/UDP in datacenter contexts
• Experience with VMware NSX-T and cloud networking (VPC, hybrid)
• Experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform

Responsibilities

• Lead SDN solution development and delivery meeting timelines and performance standards
• Design and implement network automation and infra-management platforms
• Architect SDN solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud)
• Develop APIs and tooling with IaC that integrate with devices and monitoring systems
• Collaborate in Agile scrum with cross-functional teams; perform code reviews
• Mentor engineers on network automation and IaC concepts; evaluate AI tools
