Strategic Staffing Solutions seeks an experienced SAP EAM Technical Developer to design, develop, and support custom SAP solutions within EAM/PM environments. This hands-on role focuses on ABAP programming, enhancements, integrations, and delivering technical solutions for maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate has strong ABAP/OO ABAP expertise, experience with ECC or S/4HANA, and a track record building interfaces, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and REST/SOAP APIs to enable asset management

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP and OO ABAP.
• Build and enhance SAP solutions leveraging BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
• Develop and support RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Design, build, and support integrations between SAP EAM and external applications.
• Perform code reviews and ensure development adheres to SAP best practices.
• Integrations & Interfaces: IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Support testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and deployment.

We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM Technical Developer to design, develop, and support custom SAP solutions within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) environments. This is a highly technical, hands-on development role focused on ABAP programming, SAP enhancements, integrations, and technical solution delivery supporting maintenance operations and asset management processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ABAP/OO ABAP development, SAP integrations, and technical problem-solving, with experience supporting SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• Build and enhance SAP solutions leveraging:
• BAdIs
• User Exits
• Implicit and Explicit Enhancements
• Develop and support RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Perform code reviews and ensure development adheres to SAP best practices and development standards.

Integrations & Interfaces

• Design, build, and support integrations between SAP EAM and external enterprise applications.
• Develop and consume:
• IDocs
• RFCs
• BAPIs
• OData Services
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Support real-time and batch integrations for asset, maintenance, and operational data.

Technical Support & Optimization

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical defects and production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
• Optimize ABAP programs, database interactions, and interface performance.
• Support data processing, automation initiatives, and system enhancements related to maintenance and asset management.
• Partner with functional consultants, business analysts, and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong expertise in:
• ABAP and OO ABAP
• BAdIs and User Exits
• IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs
• SAP debugging and performance tuning
• Experience working within SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Plant Maintenance (PM) environments.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of data processing, interface design, and system integration concepts.
• Experience developing and consuming OData services and APIs.
