EY GDS – TechOps is seeking an SAP ABAP Senior Consultant to develop, maintain and optimize SAP ABAP applications across a multi-region environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to address issues, implement enhancements and support global clients with scalable, reliable SAP solutions.

The role requires 3–7 years in SAP ABAP, S/4 HANA ABAP development, Fiori/UI5, and strong troubleshooting/communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technology field or comparable experience.
• 3–7 years of experience in SAP ABAP, including S/4 HANA ABAP Development and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP ABAP development focusing on level 3 support and global operations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions across SAP modules.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in a multi-region environment.
• Experience working in a global setting with multi-regional teams and time zones.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with global teams; able to work in shifts or be on call.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day Application Management support for SAP applications (Level 2/3).
• Lead senior ABAP development activities including customizations, enhancements and fixes across SAP environments.
• Design, develop and implement complex ABAP programs to address critical business needs and optimize performance.
• Perform code reviews and tune ABAP programs for optimal execution.
• Collaborate with functional/technical teams to gather requirements and provide expert ABAP guidance.
• Coordinate resolution of complex technical issues and system outages.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and project guidelines.
• Mentor junior SAP ABAP team members and share best practices.
• Stay updated on SAP trends and drive automation and innovation across processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support out-of-hours requirements.
