Knwn Local is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role supporting North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content for YouTube, social media, and paid media.

You bring 3+ years of professional editing, advanced Premiere Pro skills, and experience across color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Fluent English communication with U.S.-based teams.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube.
• Enhance video quality with color correction and sound design.
• Add motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video assets and ensure version control.
• Review edits based on client feedback before delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets.
