Job summary

Tidal is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely with North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality outputs for YouTube, social, and paid media.

With 3+ years in agency, media production, or marketing, you will lead color grading, sound design, and motion graphics within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience in an agency, media production, or marketing setting.
• Advanced skills in Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads, marketing, or corporate communications content.
• Strong storytelling with clear pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions) and color grading.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality with color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets accounting for review steps.
