Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and responsibility for manual testing of desktop and mobile apps. Build and maintain robust test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve quality.

We value experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and testing Electron/React Native apps, plus utilization of AI tools in QA. We offer a flexible, remote setup and stimulating fintech projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
