AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software lifecycle, partnering with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, champion a right-sized test pyramid, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.

Formación

• 4+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or automation experience.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality into SDLC and understand acceptance criteria.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Promote a right-sized test pyramid to balance unit, service, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to assess code changes and determine test value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD for rapid feedback.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews to surface quality risks.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation development, and coverage optimization.
