AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC by partnering with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start. Design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation and coverage optimization.

This role requires 4+ years of QA experience with hands-on AI-assisted testing, REST APIs, and CI/CD

Formación

• 4+ years in software testing or quality engineering.
• Hands-on with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with mobile test automation (iOS/Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to understand product functionality and acceptance criteria.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid and balance tests to maximize value over UI automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes and improve test coverage.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate with CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test case generation, automation development, and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through intelligent automation.
• Partner with engineering teams to investigate defects and perform root cause analysis.
