AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle.

You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a right-sized test pyramid with AI-assisted testing approaches. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start, leverage CI/CD for rapid feedback, and explore

Formación

• 4+ years in software testing/quality engineering or automation roles.
• Hands-on with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Mobile test automation experience (iOS/Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing concepts.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality in SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion the right-sized test pyramid balancing unit, service, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with teams to understand code changes and determine automated testing value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD for rapid feedback.
• Promote shift-left quality through backlog refinement and design discussions.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, defect analysis, and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via intelligent automation.
• Investigate defects and perform root-cause analysis with teams.
