Job summary

Bridgenext is seeking a QA Engineer to support both a Data Engineering initiative and a web application project. You will ensure quality, reliability, and accuracy of data pipelines, APIs, and application functionality. Collaborate with engineers, data engineers, and business analysts to resolve defects and support UAT.

The role is remote in LATAM, preferably Argentina, with strong SQL, test management experience, and English communication required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Experience testing web applications and APIs.
• Experience validating data pipelines, ETL processes, or analytics platforms.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent English communication (written and oral).

Responsibilities

Position Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer capable of supporting both a Data Engineering initiative and a web application development project. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of data pipelines and application functionality across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies
• Validate data ingestion, transformation, and data quality processes
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for web applications
• Validate data accuracy across source systems and target environments
• Work closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to resolve defects
• Support user acceptance testing activities
• Document and track defects through resolution
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and release readiness reviews
• Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable

Workplace

Remote based role in LATAM, preferably in Argentina

Must Have Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience testing web applications and APIs
• Experience validating data pipelines, ETL processes, or analytics platforms
• Strong SQL skills for data validation
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS-based data platforms
• Experience testing data lake or Medallion Architecture implementations
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of data quality testing methodologies
