GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead test automation efforts in a hybrid role in Argentina. You will mentor testers, design and maintain a Selenium/Playwright-based framework in C#, and work with AI-assisted tools to accelerate test design and execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing (manual and automation), with a strong focus on Selenium WebDriver/Playwright and C#.
• Strong experience developing using object‑oriented code
• Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks at scale.
• Strong command of SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, and understanding of complex schemas and stored procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a senior/lead capacity without direct supervision.
• Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in web‑based application testing.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools (LLM‑based assistants, AI coding/testing tools) in daily QA work, with the judgment to validate and correct their output.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Clear, effective communication skills with technical and non‑technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design, create, and execute manual test cases using the AI-powered workflow plugin.
• Evaluate which test cases to automate and maintain automated tests.
• Log defects and report results in Azure DevOps.
• Provide input for planning and implementation of test automation projects.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable test automation scripts (AI-assisted).
• Act as the go-to expert on Selenium/Playwright-based test automation in C#.
• Participate in defining automation objectives, strategies, standards, and metrics.
• Analyze complex databases to retrieve and validate test data with SQL.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Mentor mid/junior testers and contribute to technical quality of the team.
• Track, report, and communicate test results and automation progress to stakeholders.
• Debug and improve existing automated tests and framework.
• Interact with developers and business units to identify and resolve issues.
