Upgrade, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end quality, building automation and validating features for a seamless banking experience. You’ll collaborate with product teams, craft test strategies, and help guide architectural decisions from a quality perspective.

The role emphasizes automation, performance testing, and rapid delivery in a fully remote LATAM setup with ownership across environments.

Formación

• Proven experience in Java automation testing with Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience defining test strategies for backend and frontend features.
• Ability to work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven) and containerized microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop test automation at the pace of feature development using AI-assisted tooling.
• Create feature test plans and internal knowledge stores to streamline automation.
• Define AI workflows to enable developers to test new features using existing automation tests.
• Run functional/performance tests in disposable environments for microservices with varying versions.
• Patch services and deploy infrastructure changes through production.
• Analyze logs to reproduce and troubleshoot production issues in non-production environments.
