AgileEngine is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our software quality across Fortune 500 projects. You will build regression scripts, perform automated and manual testing, and ensure robust release quality through SDLC collaboration.

Key skills include Gherkin, Jest/Playwright, and experience with CI/CD tools. Remote-friendly with flexible hours and office options in Rosario, Argentina.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.

• Log pass/fail conditions and link to bugs.
• Identify risks to product quality and process.
• Collaborate with product teams across SDLC and releases.

• Participate in refinement and effort estimations.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Postman, JMeter or any other object-oriented based automated testing framework.
• Experience with testing support functionalities such as GitHub Actions, LambdaTest, SendGrid, Datadog, PagerDuty.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and backend development.
• Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes.
• Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
