Job summary

Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own both automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and improve testability with developers, product teams, and QA peers.

The role emphasizes AI tool usage in QA and testing of Electron/React Native apps across platforms. Remote, international team with global impact.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
Participate in On-Call rotation.
