Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing across desktop and mobile apps, ensuring robust quality in fintech products. You will build and maintain automation, integrate into CI/CD (GitHub Actions), investigate failures, collaborate with developers and product teams, and help shape testing strategy with AI-powered tooling.

Candidates should have 4+ years QA automation, experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and testing Electron/React Native apps.

Formación

• 4+ years in QA automation plus hands‑on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their output.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
