DevBorn is seeking a senior QA engineer to own quality across a React Native mobile app and a Next.js web experience. You will work hands-on with real devices, logs, and APIs, and communicate clearly as the single most important non-technical trait.

The role covers testing, debugging, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include manual/exploratory testing, API validation, regression suite maintenance, and collaboration with engineers, product, and design.

Formación

• Test automation ownership with Playwright for web and Maestro for mobile.
• API testing with Postman or comparable tools against REST APIs behind a Node BFF.
• SQL (Postgres) and ability to read structured application logs.
• Observability tooling with Datadog for logs, dashboards and error tracking.
• Strong communication in English; work with a US-based team.
• CI/CD integration; wired automated tests into a pipeline (GitHub Actions).
• AI-assisted workflows usage to speed up testing and repro investigation.
• Experience with React Native and Next.js is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual and exploratory test passes against web and mobile releases from acceptance criteria and designs.
• Debug React Native on real devices and simulators; read logs and use debugging tools.
• Use Datadog to triage issues, determine client-side vs server-side, attach evidence to tickets.
• Test REST APIs directly for Java/Spring Boot and Node BFF services.
• Validate auth/authorization at the API level and assess end-to-end flows.
• Write clear bug reports with repro steps, environment, logs, and screenshots.
• Build and maintain regression suites and release checklists, moving coverage toward automation.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to speed up test case generation and analysis.
