Walmart is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Bentonville/Sunnyvale to lead feature and model delivery, mentor peers, and drive end-to-end software development with a focus on AI/ML integration and scalable design.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product, design, legal, and business teams to deliver secure, compliant, and high-quality software that supports Walmart’s enterprise-scale initiatives.

Formación

• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsabilidades

• Own feature and model delivery through collaborative teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence using internal and external APIs.
• Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure quality and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor application performance and support integration and delivery practices.
• Mentor peers, share knowledge, promote engineering best practices for continuous improvement.
