Commit is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to work closely with the founders on product development and technical direction. This fully remote role welcomes candidates across Latin America and focuses on Django/Python backend work for consumer and B2B platforms.

You will contribute to API features, backend performance, and integrations with Stripe and identity providers, while collaborating in a time-zone aware, asynchronous environment.

Formación

• 6+ years building production web applications.
• 3+ years with Python and Django.
• Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis in production (day‑1 pipeline scope).
• Working knowledge of CS fundamentals: data structures, concurrency, SQL, system design.
• Strong written communication; comfortable working async across time zones.
• Self-direction and follow‑through.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Write code in our Django backend powering both consumer dashboard and B2B platform.
• Develop new features for APIs powering dashboards and customer reporting.
• Improve performance and reliability of Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines.
• Integrate with third‑party services like Stripe and WorkOS SSO; participate in code reviews within a small backend team.
