Chevron Global Business Services in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Data Engineer to join the IT Organization. The role focuses on data ingestion, preparation and analytics processing to deliver data products for global services.

Candidates should have 5+ years of data engineering experience and strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python and SQL, with collaboration across ML engineers and data scientists.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role
• Experience with data acquisition, preparation and validation; data movement and transformation; analytics solution architecture; big data computing; cloud computing; information security and software engineering using Azure/Data Factory, Databricks, Python, Java, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools

Responsabilidades

• Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support work processes and strategic objectives
• Leverage data, software engineering, and data science techniques to create business value through data accessibility (ingest, prepare, analytics)
• Identify, acquire, cleanse & prepare, store data and develop data products aligned with architecture patterns
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources
• Enable data scientists by making data available for analytics models and supporting them
• Work with ML Engineer to scale and deploy models and document integrations
• Contribute to foundational tools and deployment of technical services
