Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain automated data pipelines leveraging Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Python. The role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning data for analytics and AI workloads.

You will work with Snowflake in this environment, support BI and AI agents, and collaborate with ML engineers to deploy scalable data solutions across global teams.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• +5 years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with data acquisition, preparation, validation; data movement and transformation; big data computing.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DevOps, CI/CD deployment, Python/Java, Azure SQL, Synapse, Git, ADO, Data Lake, Data Flows, Logic Apps, data warehousing.
• Strong analytical and consulting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Understand business data use and stakeholder requirements to support processes and objectives.
• Leverage data, software engineering, and data science to create business value through data accessibility.
• Ingest, prepare, and analyze data; normalize and ingest from multiple sources.
• Enable data scientists by providing ready data and data products.
