Chevron Global Business Services (GBS), based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain automated data pipelines that support data architecture and analytics across the organization.

The candidate will work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services to ingest, transform, and store data from diverse sources, enabling data-driven decision making for global business services.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with Azure data services, cloud computing, and data architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and software engineering practices.

Responsabilidades

• Understand business data use and stakeholder requirements to support processes.
• Leverage data engineering techniques to enable accessible analytics and data products.
• Ingest, prepare, cleanse, and store data from multiple sources.
• Normalize and ingest data for analytics use cases.
• Support data scientists by providing ready-to-use data and models.
• Collaborate with ML Engineer to scale and deploy data solutions.
