Job summary

BriteCore is seeking a driven Senior Python Backend Engineer for a long-term remote IC role based in Argentina or Brazil. You’ll build AI-powered backend services, APIs, and financial workflows, plus scale multi-tenant systems for real-money processing.

Strong Python, Django, SQL, and cloud experience are essential. You’ll work with Claude/Codex/Cursor tools, Docker, and AWS to ship production-grade features, with an emphasis on rapid iteration and reliability.

Qualifications

5+ years of Python web development, especially with financial systems.
3+ years with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
3+ years SaaS product development with cloud-based solutions.
3+ years hands-on with Django.
2+ years building and consuming APIs for financial transactions.
Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex.
Ability to direct AI agents on multi-file, long-horizon tasks.
Advanced math for financial modeling, algorithms and data processing.
Frontend experience with Vue.js or React.
Docker and AWS experience; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Push production AI agents into platform flows; build Python services.
Develop integration backbone: payments, identity, e-signature, real-time data.
Create rules engines and config runtime to enable product customization.
Migrate entire companies to the platform: importer pipelines, batch reconciliation.
Scale multi-tenant batch systems moving money nightly; ensure data integrity.
Design public APIs for customer ecosystem; AI agents as primary consumers.
Build financial systems: billing, payouts, refunds and revenue cycles.
