Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Mendoza to build and scale core infrastructure, design reliable platform services, and manage AWS and Kubernetes resources with service mesh technologies to ensure performance and security.

You will influence architecture, collaborate with leadership, and apply AI-native development tooling. The role requires 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript and 3+ years of API design experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes; service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd, Cilium).
• 2+ years building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication, quick learner, and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support company growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance; identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries; ensure security and operational excellence.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize development processes.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, on project status, risks, and issues.
