Job summary

The CX Guys is hiring a Senior Performance Video Editor for a fully remote, long-term contractor role. You will concept and cut end-to-end short-form video ads for TikTok, Reels, and Meta, where every edit is judged on hook rate, retention, and spend, not on aesthetics.

You’ll own output, test new angles, and help set creative direction within a fast, data-driven team. You’ll work with our Content Lead and Marketing, enjoy daily async communication, and a flexible ~40 hours/week schedule, paid

Qualifications

• Proven portfolio of short-form video edits, 20+ recent pieces including paid ads.

Responsibilities

• Concept and edit short-form video ads for TikTok, Reels, and Meta.
• Develop new video angles and hooks, then test them against proven formats.
• Build AI-assisted video creative and adapt to tool changes.
• Review past edits daily to identify what works and improve.
• Work from paid performance data to decide what to cut next.
• Turn around content quickly with daily async communication.
• Stay on top of TikTok and Instagram trends and apply them to drive conversions.
