Job summary

New Paradigm Venture is seeking a Senior Video Editor to edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns. This fully remote role supports North American university projects and collaborates with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality footage.

You should have 3+ years of experience, advanced Premiere Pro, After Effects, and color grading skills, with a proven ability to tailor content for YouTube, social media, and paid media.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in professional video editing.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing and engagement understanding.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with creative teams—designers, copywriters, and strategists—to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets, ensuring structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for internal and client review steps.
