Transak is seeking a senior engineer to own critical payment microservices, spanning orders, payment, reconciliation, and virtual accounts. You will work across LATAM, including Argentina, with banks and PSPs to ensure real-time, compliant transfers and settlement.

The role combines hands-on coding with architectural decisions, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration to build scalable, secure payment rails in a regulated environment.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a significant portion building backend/distributed systems.
• Strong fintech/payments or banking infrastructure exposure strongly preferred.
• Hands-on Node.js (TypeScript preferred) for production-grade backend services.
• Experience in regulated environments (PCI-DSS-adjacent) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Payment Systems Ownership & Architecture: end-to-end payment microservices in Node.js for real-time transactions.
• Banking & Partner Integrations: API contracts, webhook handling, and reconciliation across rails.
• Local Payments experience in Argentina and LATAM: integrate with AR banking rails and CVU/CBU workflows.
• Infrastructure, CI/CD & Operations: maintain CI/CD pipelines and AWS-based infrastructure; on-call participation.
• Technical Leadership & Collaboration: drive roadmaps, design docs, and mentoring for engineers.
