Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Technical Support Engineer, PACS in Mendoza to be the primary PACS support resource for healthcare IT projects. You will troubleshoot, resolve escalated issues, and communicate with customers via phone, email, and tickets.

You will collaborate with IT, Product, Engineering, and Project Management teams to resolve complex problems, document workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance. Requires 5+ years IT support and PACS/RIS experience, plus Windows/Linux and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
• 5+ years in IT support roles, 3+ years in healthcare/radiology-focused support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Windows Server.
• Linux admin and command-line experience.
• Experience with PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7, EMR systems.
• Experience with MSSQL and relational DBs.
• Networking concepts and infrastructure support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary PACS technical support resource for healthcare IT projects.
• Provide second-level support for PACS/RIS and healthcare IT systems, troubleshooting issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems professionally.
• Coordinate projects and own tasks as primary customer contact for resolution.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, Engineering, and PM teams to resolve complex issues.
• Monitor and triage support queues, assigning tickets appropriately.
• Maintain incident/resolution records in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge base documentation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards and internal IT policies.
• Support relationships with key customers through proactive communication.
• Deliver product and service training to administrators and users.
• Perform RIS/PACS system updates, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Conduct pre-sales technical evaluations and LOE assessments.
• Integrate and support cloud-based solutions and DeepHealth platforms.
• Design, implement, and document technical solutions meeting requirements.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and operational success.
• Educate customers on system functionality and best practices.
