Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to drive design modernization using Siemens NX CAD. You will lead migration from SolidWorks, maintain 3D models, drawings, and BOMs, and mentor NX CAD best practices across the engineering team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Advanced proficiency with Siemens NX CAD.
• Experience creating engineering drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead migration and redesign from SolidWorks to Siemens NX.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Siemens NX CAD to join our engineering team and play a key role in the modernization of critical rail products. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges, influence product design decisions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on solutions used across North America.

You’ll make an impact by

• Leading the migration and redesign of legacy mechanical components and assemblies from SolidWorks to Siemens NX.
• Creating and maintaining high-quality 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Acting as a technical reference and mentor for NX CAD best practices within the engineering team.
• Managing product data, BOMs, and engineering documentation through Teamcenter PLM and SAP.
• Supporting product improvements, engineering changes, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to successfully implement new designs.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Advanced proficiency with Siemens NX CAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
