Redtree Engineering, part of CSI's global network, is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Buenos Aires. You will support the design and execution of projects under guidance from senior engineers, contributing to national and international assignments.

This role offers hands-on development in power systems, mentorship, and a path to technical growth. Hybrid work arrangements are available, with opportunities to work across substations, protection systems, and power generation

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1–3 years of electrical engineering experience (internships count).
• Advanced English proficiency in written and spoken form.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical power systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support electrical engineering scope for national and international projects.
• Develop electrical designs and technical deliverables.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, schematics, layouts, and design docs.
• Support HV/MV systems design (substations, transformers, switchgear, grounding, protection).
• Assist with electrical studies (load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, protective coordination).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver constructible engineering solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and technical records.
• Apply industry standards, codes, and client specifications.

We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to high-impact national and international projects. This role offers the opportunity to learn alongside experienced engineers, develop hands‑on technical skills, and build a career in power generation and infrastructure engineering.

Position Overview

As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will join our Electrical Engineering team and support the technical development, design, and execution of engineering projects. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will contribute to engineering deliverables while progressively taking on greater technical responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the electrical engineering scope for national and international projects.


• Assist in the development of electrical engineering designs and technical deliverables.


• Prepare one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, equipment layouts, and design documentation under senior supervision.


• Support the design and specification of medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, grounding systems, and protection and control systems.


• Assist with electrical studies, including load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, protection coordination, and grounding analyses.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to support integrated and constructible engineering solutions.


• Maintain and organize project documentation, drawings, and technical records.


• Apply applicable industry standards, codes, and client specifications in day‑to‑day work.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.


• 1–3 years of experience in electrical engineering (internships and academic projects count).


• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).


• Foundational knowledge of electrical power systems.


• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.


• Eagerness to learn and take direction within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

We highly value candidates with exposure to:

• Industrial facilities, renewable energy projects, substations, or combined-cycle power plants.


• Electrical power system analysis and design tools such as ETAP, PowerWorld, SIMSEE, or AutoCAD.


• ANSI and ISO standards and regulations.
