Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC seeks a Senior Systems Operations professional to join our Mainframe Compute Site Reliability and Engineering (SRE) team. You will apply deep knowledge to all aspects of infrastructure support and the Software Development Lifecycle, partnering with stakeholders daily to stay aligned on goals.

You will operate and manage IBM z-Series environments in a 24x7 setting, lead Operational and SRE teams, and drive improvements through automation, incident management, and blameless

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years’ experience in operating and managing IBM z-Series environments.
• Experience leading Operational and SRE teams in a 24x7 support environment, including people management.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage IBM z-Series environments and related components.
• Coordinate with external vendors such as IBM to coordinate hardware replacements and to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Demonstrate expertise in Incident/Problem/Change management processes and procedures; facilitate blameless post-mortems.
