Job summary

Promtior is seeking a Sr. Java Developer to join our Engineering team in Argentina. You will build and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Spring and Spring Boot, with a focus on performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with product and technology teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute across the full development lifecycle from design to production deployment. Strong English and curiosity are required. Docker experience and JVM tuning are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience developing APIs or backend services.
• Strong knowledge of JVM memory and performance.
• Expertise in microservices and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Docker containers.
• Understanding of patterns such as Circuit Breaker, idempotency, or SAGA.
• Proactive learner with technical curiosity.
• Advanced English proficiency.
