EPAM Systems Inc. is hiring a Senior Java Developer to deliver reliable Java backends and apply AI know-how to strengthen architecture decisions.

Develop Spring Boot microservices with REST APIs, SQL, CI/CD, and NoSQL while operating across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. You will build scalable applications, guide engineers, review code, and collaborate across teams to meet business goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows for automated builds and deployments.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex queries.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiar with NoSQL databases.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable Java backends and REST APIs.
• Provide architectural input during design discussions.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers.
• Conduct peer code reviews and improve implementations.
• Analyze defects and drive root-cause resolution.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
